Sequencing owned and earned on launch day

Yesterday we turned three routine product notes into a 90-second founder clip series and landed two earned pieces because reporters had a narrative, not a spec sheet. How are you sequencing owned channels, embargo briefings, and spokesperson availability in the first 24 hours so coverage builds instead of fragmenting?

“> are you sequencing owned channels, embargo briefings, and spokesperson availability in the” — totally yes: we set embargoes for 8am ET, publish the 90‑second founder clip on owned at 8:10, and run two 30‑min spokesperson blocks at 8:30 and 11 so coverage stacks instead of fragmenting ( when it doesn’t). If there’s only one spokesperson, we swap the second block for a 15‑min group briefing to prevent repeats; do you delay social until the first two earned pieces post?

It’s all about timing and flow. I’ve found that releasing a teaser clip a few hours before can spark interest and set the tone for the day. Just make sure your spokesperson is available right after for any follow-up questions; it can really help keep the momentum going.
